What to consider when choosing a contractor.
When it comes to hiring a tradie, it's important to choose someone with an established reputation who has proven experience working on projects similar to yours. This will ensure that your project is completed to a high standard and will help to avoid costly errors by inadvertently hiring inexperienced tradesmen.
When hiring a Tradesperson, it's best to:
- Obtain at least three itemised quotes.
- Ask for examples of their previous work and contact former customers for testimonials.
- Ask the contractor for an estimated start date and timeframe for the project, so you can prepare for how long it will take (weather permitting).
